Club Websites
The style of this website becomes yours with a website. It will have your club name in the banner and in the domain name —, your pages in the menu, and your publications on the home page. But this is only the beginning. Tools to manage your club, newsletter creator plus subscription manager and a great mobile version of your site. The greatest benefit is your site's ability to share blog publications with the other and sites. Click here for more on Community Blogging.

Blogging Local and Global

The activity of your club is a story to be told. A club website includes blogging tools for as many of your members as you see fit. Each can write and publish through a simple internal authorization process. Those stories (blogs) become the substance of your home page, but they can go much further. They also become part of Global Publications, the combined collection of stories from all other club websites and blog sites. This means that your stories will be visible in the Global Publications collection of blogs, a list that can be included on the home page of every club site. Imaging the size of your audience with so many points of visibility. Imagine the potential global support of Rotarians who are exposed to the work of your club.

Pages and Templates

Adding a standard page to your website is as easy as writing an email. You can even use one of the helpful templates like the About Us, Contact Us, Board Members, or Subscribe to our Newsletter page. Flag a page as a menu item and it will be included in the left menu automatically. It's that simple.

Themes — Rotary, Rotaract & Interact

Don't like purple? There are four great color themes to choose from with a Rotary wheel watermark in the banner, four for Rotaract and four for Interact. Change your site theme as often as you like. A website is an extremely affordable and functional website for Rotaract and Interact clubs to adopt - and to be part of global knowledge exchange.

A Website for your Conference, Event, Project and more

A complete website for your conference or event can be put together in no time without any expert help. The community blogging platform exposes your event to a global audience of Rotarians and their affiliates, and the newsletter tools are perfect for informing followers of your upcoming event, not to mention followup afterward.

A website is ideal for projects too. Community blogging, the newsletter and notices tool are perfect for keeping participants up to date. The member management functions can be used for managing all the project participants, volunteers and organizers. A site for conferences (like the Calgary Microcredit Conference) may go from the biggest budget item to the smallest.

Club Tools

We know that managing a club presents an administrative burden. A good website should not add to the burden, but relieve it. We've included some very helpful tools to do just that.

The user list in your site is a place to keep track of your club members. Each member profile lets you include a biography, contact info, a photo, member role and member status. You can disable a member profile to serve as an historical record of past members. The list also serves as access control to your site, a blogging account, and a recipient list for notices and newsletters. Member accounts also enable members to post comments to local and global publications - making the conversation truly global.

A collection of club notices can be posted to your site. Visible to logged-in members only, notices can be broadcasted to your members and attached to your newsletters. Your site becomes a globally accessible archive of announcements.

While a web page is a more practical replacement for downloadable documents, some documents still need to be posted. Your site includes the ability to post documents for your members to download. Those documents can even be included in your newsletters. When the newsletter is broadcasted, a link to the document is included.

Any or all of your members can be given blogging access. This lets them write your club activity, goals, accomplishments - short posts or long is up to you and to them. The benefit is that your club can take advantage of it's most valuable resource, its members. The blogging tool is simple - you can add a blog post, edit one, delete one and publish. Publishing sends an email for authorization to whoever you've assigned as a moderator. The moderator opens a link to the blog, reads it, then if all is acceptable, clicks Approve. A similar process happens for global publication.

Keeping in contact with your club members, and even non-members interested in your club is an easy task with the newsletter tools. You can create multiple newsletters using the Newsletter editor. A newsletter is very simply a headline, introduction, a selection of your publications, global publications, notices, documents and a footer. The process is extraordinarily quick. Identify your recipient list, click Broadcast and you're done.

One of the easiest pages to add to your site is a subscribe page. This creates a simple form for anyone to subscribe to your newsletter. With no administrative steps on your part, the recipient is added. When you broadcast to Recipients the new subscriber will receive your newsletter via email.

The best quality of a web application is accessibility. You have full access and full functions from any Internet connection and any computer. There is no reliance on old servers, personal computers, or lost filing systems. This kind of software is extremely accessible and if developed for a group, extremely cost effective.

Virtual access also means shared access. The public can see public web pages, members can access member information, same for administrators and club leaders - from any place and any time - always current, always consistent.

If your club moves, your information system doesn't need to be moved because it exists on the web. If club leaders or administrators change, not need to pack up files and computers, just reassign administrator access.

Mobile Website

Open your site on a tablet or smart-phone and you'll see every page in a compact, clear and readable view - even on a 5 inch screen. The site detects mobile devices and responds with a compact, light-weight version of your pages. No extra work is required on your part, it just happens. As the web becomes mobile, this is an essential quality to have.

Pricing - $180 per year

There is one price for the club websites: $180 per year. There is no setup fee, no development fee and no anything else fee. You won't even need to register a domain name because a subdomain ( is included. We've made every possible effort to put the cost-benefit ratio out of this world.

Launching your site can take minutes. The setup form helps you through all the initial steps. If you need more help, we're here for you. Click here to contact us
